Join me this Saturday at 5:00 pm for a guided tour of Round III of the Artists in Storefronts project, along Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis's Whittier Neighborhood. This is something I've done twice before, and each time has been very memorable. We're meeting up at 5:00pm at the Minneapolis late-night landmark, Little Tiajuana (which I haven't been to since they remodeled). What's more, this will be a joint tour co-led by myself and Andy Sturdevant, one of my all-time favorite partners in flaneurie.
Whittier Neighborhood, and especially Nicollet Avenue, is my favorite place to stroll in the entire Twin Cities. It's shopwindows and diversity are unparalleled, and it's filled with interesting historical trivia which I will be happy to share with you as we wander around the street, looking at the interesting art in the windows.
